Fabric:  
Choose a fabric with at least 40% stretch. My preferred fabrics for sewing are jersey, bamboo, or wool. If you’re sewing with jersey and don’t want a snug fit, I recommend sewing one or two sizes larger while maintaining the length that best matches your child’s height. Additionally, select the waistband or elastic that corresponds to your child’s waist measurement according to the size chart. If you’re working with wool or bamboo, they naturally have a slightly looser fit, so there’s no need to sew a larger size. For knee patches, it’s advisable to use a more durable fabric; I opt for suede, which also offers some stretch.

Model A: 2.5 cm (1”) wide elastic.
Model B (optional): 3 cm (1.2”) wide elastic.
